I would like to know why the current(A) field in Ezcad have no effect when engraving. A value of 1 will have the same effect as a value of 10.

I'm trying to solve my problem for engraving glass, talking to the vendor for 3 days now.

But after making many, many hundreds of tests, I found out about the current issue.

It's a 5W UV engraver, it will engrave on glass but, at very low speed (25 and 50mm/sec.) Engraving is the same, even from 1 to 10

Thanks for any help, Jeff

@ostie01 For all of the sources I've seen current is hard coded into the UV source and not software controllable.
What brand/model source do you have? I bet me or one of the guys has something similar.
