@millerman Try doing it. You may be limited to fonts that aren't super ornate. You will also find that some materials take the small fonts better than others.
The test is basically just a bunch of text blocks of varying sizes. In lightburn you will need to manually type in the size of the font as the size up and size down buttons are coarse adjustments. Try it out and show us pictures. 😄
